Outline.

After turnover, the next step is furnishing.

Good thing the condo does not set any deadline for the units to be furnished. Although of course, we want it to be furnished as soon as possible because we will be paying for the necessary fees already like the assocation dues, regardless if we have moved in or not.

This furnishing will not be that easy because the unit is really bare. Bare as in no tiles, first-coated walls only, no dividers, etc. Then of course, you'll have the built-in cabinets, kitchen, furniture and appliances.

So I guess I also have to include my bank loan progress here. :D

And because we'll start meeting with potential architects and contractors, we visited the unit yesterday to take measurements and try to visualize the layout by tracing chalks. Yes, like kids drawing at the floor. :) I don't know if that's the usual thing to do but it really helped us a lot in deciding the final layout because we can visualize how it would really look like and if it could fit or not.

This will be the space for his office.

Drew the kitchen and dining table. And the picture above is supposed to be a dining set. :))

We already saw the table and chair set that we want for the balcony. We just need to measure if it could perfectly fit here.

Our plan is to show these traces to our architect so that he/she can easily do the formal plan needed. By the way, the building admin requires formal plan from an architect before the furnishing starts so really, we have to do this. :S
